After qualifying with distinction from the Royal Academy of Music, she spent many years as a professional singer performing throughout the UK and Europe. She’s also sung on the South Bank and has recorded for the BBC.

Singing students range from professionals to enthusiastic amateurs, from 7 to 77 year olds

Cheryl teaches predominantly classical repertoire but includes music theatre and popular styles

Student achievements:

Four Successful Performing Arts Students have recently gained places to Arts Ed [One as singer /actor] and Bird’s [ Two as singer/dancers] in London, and One to the principal Stage school in Liverpool

  • Others have gained choral scholarships to Oxford and Cambridge and Kings College
  • Several seven year olds have become cathedral choral scholars
  • Many excellent amateurs and semi-pros are giving lunchtime recitals, competing in music festivals and playing principal roles in popular shows.
  • Some are trying to discover whether they have a voice at all! I am very happy to help them on that journey.
